Our Blue, Black & Splash Ameraucana flock is one of the most colorful parts of Six Hill Farm. We raise these birds for their beautiful appearance, friendly personalities, and the naturally blue eggs that make Ameraucanas so special.
Our flock includes blue, black, and splash birds. When bred together, these colors can produce a beautiful variety of chicks while allowing us to continue improving the overall quality of our flock.
Raised at Six Hill Farm
Our birds are raised on our small family farm in Eastern Kentucky. We spend time with our flock daily and work hard to provide clean housing, proper nutrition, fresh water, and plenty of care.

Our Breeding Goals
At Six Hill Farm, we thoughtfully select our breeding birds with a focus on:

We are proud to have raised birds that have received recognition in the show ring, including a Reserve Champion ASOB rooster and a Champion Row hen.
While every chick will develop differently, we carefully choose our breeding flock with the goal of producing healthy birds that represent the qualities we love most about the Ameraucana breed.
Blue, Black & Splash Genetics
Blue, black, and splash Ameraucanas are all part of the same color breeding group.
Depending on the colors of the parents, chicks may hatch blue, black, or splash. Because color genetics can vary, we cannot guarantee the exact color of every chick before it hatches.
That little bit of surprise is part of what makes raising a Blue, Black & Splash flock so much fun.
Hatching Eggs and Chicks
We may occasionally offer:

● Day-old chicks-Local Pickup
● Started chicks-Local Pickup
Availability depends on the season, fertility, hatch rates, and the needs of our own breeding program.
Hatching eggs are sold as fertile eggs and are carefully collected and packaged. However, we cannot guarantee hatch rates once eggs leave our farm because shipping, incubator settings, handling, temperature, and humidity can all affect development.
